Recently chief photographer for ABRMEDIA Asanka Brendon Ratnayake went to the fascinating Tasmania restaurant The Agrarian Kitchen in New Norfolk for the New York Times Food.
The striking natural light, long dining hall and an exquisite ever-changing seasonal menu with ingredients produced in-house makes the Agrarian kitchen as a must visit on the Tasmania food trail. What makes this restaurant so unique though is the juxtaposition of this high-end restaurant in the former environs of a what was Australia's first mental asylum and the derelict buildings that surround it.
